How to Make Spaghetti Pie

"Spaghetti Pie"-type dishes scared me when I was little. Maybe it's the whole "foods touching" problem. But nowadays I'm a fan of one-dish meals. It makes it a lot easier to serve, reheat, etc.

I also like to bring new life to leftovers instead of eating the same thing a few days in a row, and this recipe makes good use of whatever pasta and sauce you have hanging around.

Oh, and one more's like a lazy lasagna dish, as the components are similar but you don't have to take the time to get all the layers perfect. :)

-cooked pasta (preferably spaghetti)
-any prepared pasta sauce; meaty or vegetarian, red or white
-1 egg
-grated cheese (preferably Parmesan)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
1) Beat egg; then mix with cooked pasta and grated cheese.
2) Spread cooked pasta in bottom of baking dish, pour sauce over top*, and bake for about 20 minutes or until egg/pasta is set (more cheese could be sprinkled on top towards the end and allowed to melt).

*Make sure all pasta is covered, as exposed pieces may turn crunchy
