How to Make Chicken Curry Burgers

Obviously, I like chicken. :)

I even buy ground chicken instead of beef. I won't go into details, but it seems like the safer choice.

This recipe comes out nice and moist, and the curry is just one flavor option.


1 lb ground chicken
1 egg, beaten
1 carrot, grated
1 small onion, minced
1 tsp mayonnaise or salad oil (to add moisture)
4-6 tbsp bread crumbs (or just crumble in some pieces of bread)
herbs, spices, to taste: I recommend trying some curry powder (1 tsp), as well as fresh herbs such as parsley or cilantro
flour for coating


1) Mix all ingredients together.
2) Form patties and dip in flour before placing in frying pan or on grill.
3) Fry or grill each side until golden and juices eventually run clear.

Flavor variations could include Italian spices (basil, oregano, etc); or a bottled sauce or salad dressing (just watch the consistency)
